Review: I bought “Pink Glove Service” by Essie, thinking I was getting a lovely milky peony color. But it’s almost colorless, giving the barest, almost-clear tint to the nail. And layering multiple coats? Does nothing. Boring and disappointing.

Cost: $8.

Repurchase: No.

Awesomesauce, mediocre, or crapola: Not sure what to call it, since the description, above, isn’t exactly misleading about how sheer it is. HOWEVER. No such description was available at the store when I was buying it. Since all I had to go on was the look of it in the bottle, I think I will call it mediocre because it was misleading in that way.
